Welcome to my portfolio!

Welcome to my portfolio!

Hi! My name is Megan Williams, but you can call me Meg!

I am a creative professional seeking to progress my career in the city I have recently relocated to: Seattle! I am eager to leverage 4+ years of diverse experience creating media campaigns and communicating directly with executive stakeholders to enter into a new industry.

I am competitive by nature, a natural-born storyteller, and I am more than ready to get started in a new role.

My Work

In My Previous Role…

Having the opportunity to "wear many different hats" in my previous role as Special Projects Coordinator, I successfully created and leveraged integrated marketing strategies, which led to a significant 40% increase in campus enrollment over two years. I worked directly with the Superintendent to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the community. Furthermore, I led the design and execution of impactful promotional campaigns, raising annual donations by 20%. My strategic planning in digital identity management via social media also drove a large increase in website traffic. Want to go further back in time? Take a look at my CV, where I’ve detailed other relevant experiences.

My Interests…

My interests include e-commerce, digital design, creator marketing, communications, product development, and marketing. Outside of working hours, you can find me researching fresh trends (especially in fashion), creating custom wedding websites for close friends, exploring my new city and enjoying its local cuisine, competing in several different sports, or even playing cards! I also love to write!

In 2024 I decided to metaphorically “put pen to paper” and start a Substack account. This is by no means a professional asset; its only purpose is to be a place to share my thoughts on Super Bowl commercials, catalog my recipes, and occasionally highlight a brand campaign spotlight. Curated x Meg is a small glimpse of my personality.

My Education…

In college, I held many leadership positions while double majoring in News & Media Studies and English at Texas Christian University. I graduated with my BS in May of 2020, the peak of the pandemic, and was able to secure a job working on marketing for a private surgery clinic.
