A 60th Birthday Surprise
Situation
In 2021, my family wanted to do something extra special for my dad’s 60th birthday. Since we were all traveling to be together for the weekend, we wanted to do something memorable.
Task
I suggested we create a magazine where members of the family can author articles of their choice - showing pictures and sharing stories of my dad’s whole life.
Result
Using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, I created one spread at a time; story by story growing the catalog of stories.
I’ll be honest, I thought we would have a nice little ~10 page “magazine”… We had so much fun with this project that it ended up being 38 pages! After having it professionally printed, we now all have multiple copies, making it the most memorable gift I have created.
